The flat is a fantastic selection for a holiday in Barcelona! Placed  in el Ensanche Derecha, a famous district of Barcelona, next to the Paseo de Gracia and a small walk from Plaza Catalonia. The comfortable self-catering apartments building in Barcelona is classicallight, and maintains her original state.

General short description
This attractive 82 square meters apartment in Barcelona is split into three bedrooms, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, the sitting room , the bathroom and a small French balcony. The accommodation has a maximum capacity up to 5 pax.

Bedrooms
Because of its windows, the frontside bedrooms are bright with natural light. The main bedroom of the accommodation in Barcelona has two individual beds, that we are able to put together or separate. The secondary room  has a queensize bed. The one person inside room has an individual bed . All rooms feature a wardrobe to leave your things, and side tables.

Living area

The sitting room of the apartment is cozy for having a drink with your company or for watching television whilst a Barcelona vacation. Connected to the sitting-room you find a dining room, perfect for when you cook in.

Kitchen
The kitchen is practically new and found in the center of the apartment. The apartments kitchen features clear  painted walls and is equipped with the smartest utensils. You are able to nicely prepare your dinners here.

Building
This typical avant-garde Barcelona apartments building comes with tastefully finished ceilings with the unique adornments. This contruction style was often used in Barcelona at the turn of the 19^th century.

The wide entry of the Barcelona apartments building directly gives you an idea of the comfort the Barcelona bourgeoisie was accustomed. The apartments building has a new elevator available in order to get to the level on which the Barcelona apartment is located.

Shopping and highlights

Thanks to the centric location these Barcelona apartments have, you will like all services you need during your nice holidays in Barcelona. For your groceries ,there are 2 supermarkets  close by, one is situated only one street up from your apartment, and the 2^nd one, 2 streets down.  Also you shall find a frozen food boutique around the corner.

In the proximity  the Barcelona apartments, there are two metro stations: Girona metro stop, from the Line Four is positioned at just one street distance, and Plaza Tetuan tube stop, from the purple line, L2. There’s a third metro line a bit further away from your building, L1 the red metro line at three streets from the apartments, in Plaza Urquinaona.

Not far from the apartments At Plaza Urquinaona, there are numerous restaurants, which belong to food organisations where you can eat at really inexpensive tariffs. But if you want to enjoy and taste real Spanish tapas, we suggest you to walk to Paseo de Gracia or Rambla Catalunya. Have a look at our Barcelona city guide for additional information.

If you are interested in sightseeing in Barcelona, there are two museums that are really worth seeing close to your Barcelona apartment: “Fundació Antoni Tàpies” Museum (Aragón,  255) and the Catalan Modernist Museum, (Balmes 48). Another museum we recommend to visit, is the MACBA museum (Plaça dels Angels, 1), you can reach it walking for about 20 minutes. Any of these are close by your Barcelona apartment.

For your shopping in Barcelona, this is the place to be! From your Barcelona apartment, you can go on foot to Passeig de Gracia. This street is famous, apart from its designer boutiques, for being the must-visit of Barcelona modernism. In this avenue, you really have to see Casa Batlló (Paseo de Gracia, 43) and La Pedrera, (Paseo de Gracia, 92).

If you go Paseo de Gracia up, you will find Avinguda Diagonal, big avenue with many shops from large designer firms.

If you walk “Paseo de Gracia” down, you will arrive to “Plaza Cataluña”, considered the heart of the city.  In this square you will find three shopping centres, where to find everything you fancy and the newest trends: El Corte Inglés, in the side of Paseo de Gracia, El Triangle and Sfera, placed at the other side of the square. To continue shopping, take Porta de Angel, the pedestrian street going down in Plaza Cataluña.

This street is full with clothing shops and shoe shops. If you continue this road down, there’s another “El Corte Inglés” shopping center and a Decathlon center. Take into account that this avenue is close to the famous Ramblas in Barcelona, where you can be entertained by the street jugglers and have a small snack and a drink whilst your shopping. Actually to have a drink, we recommend you to walk opposite Ramblas, towards Via Laietana, there are many bars, restaurants and cafés, at more affordable prices.

For shoes,  we suggest you go to Calle Palayo, from Plaza Catalunya. This street is again not far from the Barcelona apartments rental.
